This 3D modeled scene features a dining set designed by Gilbert Rohde for the furniture manufacturer Heywood-Wakefield as part of the Old Colony line (early to mid-1930s). I believe these are from the “Priscilla” set. What I love is the mix of streamline modern and traditional colonial styles. The scene features Pacific Pottery decorated plates, Bauer Pottery vases, a vintage 1930s hooked rug, and artwork from Thomas Hart Benton. I designed the fabric for the lobster throw pillows, and for fun, I’ve included two “cutouts” of a woman and her Scottie dog. The room shape is based on a bungalow dormer.
