Pacific Pottery Hostessware #440 8-cup teapot
Slightly less elegant than its “restyled” counterparts, but high on function, the big 440 8-cup teapot is breakfast-table ready. This teapot is the most common of the group and was produced for the entire duration. Early versions (shown in the gallery in red and green) feature a snub nose and slightly different lid shape. Early versions are more likely to feature a wet foot with either the foil label or hand-scribed in-mold mark, and later versions have the dry foot and circular in-mold mark.
