Fabric Design Art Deco #4 Roses
This vibrant fabric design features bold, abstract interpretations of roses. Each bloom is rendered in striking, layered shapes with sharp, angular petal edges, creating a dynamic, almost cut-paper effect. The palette highlights rich jewel tones—deep red, magenta, golden yellow, and orange—set against a dramatic royal blue background, which enhances the visual impact and depth of the composition. Reflecting the graphic and modernist sensibilities of early-to-mid 20th-century design, this pattern captures an energetic and artistic approach to floral motifs, perfect for bold, statement-making projects.
Designed in Summer 2023, drawn in Illustrator with two colorways, pink and dark purple. I had the pink printed as wallpaper for the “vanity closet” and used the darker version to cover the Heywood-Wakefield stool.
